Blackberry Bliss Bowl

Blackberry Bliss Bowl — A Fruit & Yogurt Ritual for Radiance

For slow mornings, sacred breaks, and skin-glowing nourishment.

This isn’t just breakfast—it’s edible beauty. A creamy bowl of probiotic-rich yogurt, bursting seasonal fruit, vibrant toppings, and warming spices that support digestion, hormonal balance, and glowing skin. With blackberries at the heart, this bowl is juicy, rich in antioxidants, and deeply hydrating—perfect for balancing Pitta and rejuvenating Vata.

Ayurvedic Nourishment Notes

  • Yogurt is cooling, grounding, and excellent for digestion when taken mid-morning or with warming spices.

  • Blackberries are rasayana—rejuvenating—with sweet and astringent tastes that build tissue and support skin + reproductive health.

  • Cinnamon & ginger kindle agni and keep the bowl warm and digestible.

  • Nuts/seeds add protein, grounding fats, and ojas-building strength.

  • Raw honey or maple syrup gives a touch of heart-softening sweetness and balances the tang of yogurt.

Ingredients (1 serving)

  • ¾ cup full-fat Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt (unsweetened)

  • ½ cup fresh blackberries

  • ¼ cup chopped seasonal fruit (strawberries, banana, mango, or figs)

  • 1 tablespoon ground flax, chia, or hemp seeds

  • 1 tablespoon slivered almonds, pumpkin seeds, or walnuts

  • 1–2 teaspoons raw honey or maple syrup

  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • Pinch of ground ginger or cardamom (optional)

  • Optional garnish: fresh mint, rose petals, edible flowers

Instructions

  1. Start with your base: Spoon yogurt into a beautiful bowl and swirl it smooth. Whisper a prayer or intention for your day.

  2. Add fruit: Top with blackberries and your chosen seasonal fruits.

  3. Sprinkle & spice: Add seeds, nuts, cinnamon, and any optional spices you desire.

  4. Drizzle with honey or maple syrup. Finish with mint or petals if you're feeling extra radiant.

  5. Pause. Breathe. Receive. Eat slowly, ideally seated and without distraction.

Dosha-Friendly Tips

  • Vata: Use warm stewed berries or let the bowl come to room temp. Add warming spices and extra healthy fats like almond butter.

  • Pitta: Stick with coconut yogurt or Greek yogurt, avoid sour fruits, and cool with mint or rose.

  • Kapha: Choose light yogurt (or almond milk yogurt), use warming spices liberally, and go light on sweeteners.
